NHFR Team of the Week: Windham

NHFR TEAM OF THE WEEK
Windham Jaguars

Michael Brearley scored on a 1-yard run and his brother Chris added the two-point conversion with 9:52 remaining in the third quarter to help 12th-seeded Windham (4-6) upset fifth-seeded Salem (7-3) on Friday in the first round of the Division I playoffs.

It was the first Division I playoff victory for Windham, which will face fourth-seeded Pinkerton (8-2) in Friday night’s quarterfinals.

Windham’s TD followed a Salem fumble. The Blue Devils missed a 31-yard field goal that would have given them the lead in the fourth quarter.

Kevin Todisco’s 25-yard TD run and Ryan Bryant’s PAT gave the Blue Devils a 7-0 lead.

Chris Brearley, who was playing his second game at quarterback, rushed for 122 yards in the win.
