Alisandro lands at ODU

Former Trinity High School quarterback/cornerback Botros Alisandro has transferred from Purdue to Old Dominion University.

Alisandro, a Manchester resident, is a cornerback who played at Snow Junior College in Ephraim, Utah, before he received a full scholarship from Purdue.

He was better known as Peter Alisandro – Botros is Arabic for Peter – when he led Trinity to the Division II championship in 2019, his junior season. After a senior season disrupted by COVID, he played in the CHaD New Hampshire East-West All-Star Game and then spurned offers from Division II and Division III programs and enrolled at ASA Brooklyn to play junior college football.

ASA Brooklyn canceled its 2020 and 2021 seasons because of the pandemic, however, so he never got on the field there. After taking the fall semester off in 2021, Alisandro transferred to Snow Junior College.

Alisandro made 25 tackles (16 solo) in 12 games for Purdue during the 2023 season, and appeared in 11 of the team’s 12 games last season, when he recorded 18 tackles (seven solo). He entered the NCAA transfer Portal after the 2024 season.
