Harris-Lopez selects JMU

Nashua’s Curtis Harris-Lopez will finish his college football career at James Madison University.

Harris-Lopez, a safety and kick returner, spent four seasons at Holy Cross, but entered the transfer portal after the 2024 season. He was a team captain in 2024, when he recorded 56 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions.

He will be reunited with former Holy Cross head coach Bob Chesney, who left Holy Cross to become James Madison’s head coach after the 2023 season.

Harris-Lopez played quarterback and defensive back as Nashua North, where he served as a team captain during his junior and senior seasons. He helped the Titans win the 2020 NHIAA Division I championship.
