UNH announces CAA game times

DURHAM – The University of New Hampshire football team has announced start times for its conference games in the 2025 season. The announcement was made Wednesday afternoon in conjunction with the release of start times by CAA Football.
UNH’s Homecoming game will be Oct. 4 against Villanova University with a 1 p.m. start time. Family Weekend is Oct. 25 against the College of William & Mary with opening kickoff at 1 p.m.
After kicking off the 2025 season at North Carolina Central on Aug. 30, the Wildcats play their home opener Sept. 6 (6 p.m.) against College of the Holy Cross.
UNH is on the road for the next two games – Sept. 13 at Ball State University and Sept. 20 at Dartmouth College – before grappling against UAlbany at Wildcat Stadium on Sept. 27 (1 p.m.) for its first CAA conference game of the season.
Following the Homecoming clash against Villanova, the UNH Wildcats are at the University of Rhode Island on Oct. 11 (1 p.m.). New Hampshire’s matchup against Campbell University is on the road Oct. 18 (3:30 p.m.).
UNH has an open week following the Oct. 25 Family Weekend game vs. William & Mary and returns to action Nov. 8 (12 p.m.) at Monmouth University and is back on the road Nov. 15 (12 p.m.) at Bryant University.
UNH ends the regular season with the annual Battle for the Brice-Cowell Musket – and Border Battle presented by Buffalo Wild Wings – against Maine at Wildcat Stadium on Nov. 22 (1 p.m.). New Hampshire retained the musket this past November with a 27-9 win in Orono.
The conference slate includes four home games and four road contests for each team. Each team is paired with three permanent partners they play annually. The remaining five slots are filled through a rotation of the 10 remaining members, where each team will play every non-partner opponent at least once over a four-year period. Limiting air travel to reduce costs was a priority, with most teams not having more than one flight during conference play.
