HANOVER — The Dartmouth College football team will begin spring practice Tuesday. The spring will feature four weeks of workouts — with one off-week in late April — with sessions on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Practices will be held at Buddy Teevens Stadium at Memorial Field and are set for 5-7 p.m. on Tuesdays/Thursdays and 10 a.m.-noon on Saturdays. All dates and times are subject to change. The spring will wrap up with the spring game on April. 10. Exact time to be announced.

The Big Green has won four Ivy League Championships in the last five seasons, last year finishing with an 8-2 record, including 5-2 in Ivy League play. Dartmouth earned a dominant 56-28 victory over Brown in the season finale to help clinch a share of the title, in a game which saw quarterback Jackson Proctor tally 479 yards of total offense, a program record.

While the Big Green lose Proctor and a number of standout players to graduation, Dartmouth returns plenty of talent all over the field as well. Grayson Saunier made his presence felt over his three starts, all wins, which included winning Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Yale. D.J. Crowther and Desmin Jackson tallied 249 and 179 rush yards, averaging 5.2 and 4.2 yards per rush, respectively. Daniel Haughton led the Big Green in receiving yards (428) and Chris Corbo led the team in touchdown receptions (7).

First team All-Ivy offensive lineman Delby Lemieux also returns while defensively, so does Sean Williams in the secondary. Tyson Grimm is Dartmouth’s top returning tackler after recording 45.0 from the nickel position, with an interception. Patrick Campbell had 43.0 with six pass breakups and a pick.
