Hawks sign four from New Hampshire

MANCHESTER – Saint Anselm College football coach Joe Adam announced the newest incoming class as part of 2026 National Signing Day on Wednesday. The Hawks officially welcomed 38 student-athletes to the program, including five mid-year transfers, with more set to sign in the coming days.

“We are excited to add these prospects to one of the most successful National Signing Day campaigns since I arrived on the Hilltop,” Adam said. “We welcome a group that reflects the foundation of our program – Blue Collar Mentality, toughness, and brotherhood. This group of men value accountability and we were able to really share our vision of success on and off the field. Each signee was evaluated not only on academics and football ability, but character and program fit. This class represents the next step in building a disciplined and connected football team and the coaching staff is excited to get to work with them in the near future.”

The 38-member class features 33 freshmen and five transfers representing 10 states, led by Massachusetts with 22 commits. New Hampshire followed with four signees from Merrimack (Zach Retey), Hampstead (James Caruso) Nashua (Jack Krulikowski), and Danville (Michael Santosuosso), while New Jersey also accounted for four additions. California contributed two student-athletes, and one signee each came from Connecticut, New York, Florida, Kansas, Maine, and North Carolina.

Junior linebacker Nathan Kearney transferred to Saint Anselm from Franklin Pierce University. While with the Ravens, the Wrentham, Mass. native played in 20 games over three seasons, highlighted by a 10-game junior campaign in which he posted 31 total tackles, 6.5 for loss, with three sacks, three pass deflections, and one interception. Dangelo Innamorato joins the squad after a two-year stint at Monroe University where the Newport Richey, Fla. product notched 45 tackles, including 4.5 tackles for loss, including three sacks. Wide receiver Anthony Phillipo joined the squad after a solid freshman season at Anna Maria College in which the Millbury, Mass. native hauled in 24 receptions for 382 yards and three touchdowns. PJ McCallop Jr., hailing out of Kansas City, Kan., made four appearances for the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2025 after two solid seasons at Baker University in which he notched 47 tackles, forced three fumbles, recorded five picks, and broke up 10 passes over 18 games. Rounding out the transfers is freshman Isaiah Barrett, coming from San Jose City College by way of Redwood City, Calif.

With 37 graduates in 2025-26, including six NE10 All-Conference student-athletes, Saint Anselm was determined to bring in solid talent on both sides of the ball after graduating the largest senior class size in program history. Wednesday’s signee list includes 12 wide receivers, eight defensive backs, five linebackers, four defensive linemen, four tight ends, three offensive linemen, and two kickers/punters.

The current Hawks’ roster will hit the gridiron in mid-March when their spring practices begin and will be joined by the incoming freshmen class in August to gear up for the 2026 slate. Saint Anselm finished the 2025 season with a 5-5 overall record and 4-3 mark in Northeast 10 Conference action, marking the fourth consecutive season the program has attained a .500 winning percentage or better.
