New Hampshire Showcase: FAQ

What is the New Hampshire Football Showcase?

The New Hampshire Football Showcase is a developmental camp where high school players take part in football-specific drills in front of college coaches to improve their game and create recruiting opportuntities. Athletes are tested in combine events (40-yard dash, broad jump, etc.) before taking part in skill-building activities specific to their position. All testing results will be sent to the college coaches in attendance and will be published on the New Hampshire Football Report.

Who can attend?

Any high school player entering grades 9-12 is eligible. Players who do not live in New Hampshire or attend high school in New Hampshire are welcome.

Why should a player attend?

The New Hampshire Football Showcase is designed to create added exposure for high school players who want to play college football. This is much-needed in New Hampshire. These players benefit by performing with college coaches in attendance, but every athlete will also have the opportunity to speak with any college coach who is at the event.

There are lots of Showcase events. Why should an athlete attend this one?

Many athletes choose to attend larger events, which can be beneficial, but the New Hampshire Football Showcase attempts to maximize exposure for each athlete so no one gets “lost in the shuffle.” The event typically attracts between 90-100 athletes, and the field is limited to 100 players based on feedback from college coaches.  Fewer athletes = more reps = more exposure. The camp is also designed for most New England players, who can play at the Division III, Division II or FCS levels.

How many colleges will be in attendance?

The New Hampshire Football Showcase usually attracts between 25-30 colleges, and currently 25 have confirmed plans to attend:

Showcase Colleges
Division I (FCS):
UNH, URI
Division II: Saint Anselm, Franklin Pierce, Assumption, Bentley
Division III: Middlebury, Norwich, Plymouth State, New England College, Bates, Husson, University of New England, Maine Maritime, Mass. Maritime, Bowdoin, Trinity, Endicott, Framingham State, Fitchburg State, WPI, Nichols, Curry, WNEC and Williams.

What advice would you give an athlete who attends?

Speak with the coach of any school you may be interested in attending. This one-on-one time is where much of the value lies in this event. Some questions an athlete may want to ask:

  • Can I play at your school?
  • Do you have my intended major?
  • Is there scholarship money/financial aid available?
  • What does you recruiting board look like at my position?

When will the 2026 New Hampshire Football Showcase be held?

This year’s event will take place June 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at Saint Anselm College’s Grappone Stadium. The rain date is June 21. There is plenty of parking surrounding the football field. Any athlete who attends should wear shoes for a turf field and shorts, and bring plenty to drink. A shirt will be provided with a number that matches the player information that will be handed out to the college coaches.

How can I register?

Players can register on the New England Gridiron Development registration page. Fill out the registration form and click on the New Hampshire Showcase logo for payment options. A player’s high school coach should be his No. 1 ally during the recuiting process, but the New Hampshire Football Showcase can help.
