Nashua game has early start

Still hungry for some high school football? Then you’re in luck.

Nashua North will face Nashua South tonight at Stellos Stadium (6 p.m.). Until this year, the Nashua Thanksgiving game was always played on Thanksgiving morning.

Both teams made the playoffs this year, and lost to Exeter in the postseason. The Blue Hawks beat the Panthers (6-4) in the quarterfinals, and knocked off the Titans (8-3) in the semifinals.

North has won the last three games between the teams, including a 34-24 triumph on Thanksgiving last year. The Titans overcame four turnovers to beat the Panthers 27-16 during the regular season. North quarterback Jeff Baldassari completed 8 of 15 passes for 218 yards and two touchdowns in that victory.

South has a 16-10 edge in the series, including an 8-4 advantage on Thanksgiving.
