TOP 10 GAMES FROM 2016
No. 10: Goffstown 39, Salem 35

The Grizzlies played from behind for most of the day in a regular-season game that featured two teams that made the Division I playoffs, but they erased a three-point deficit when quarterback Nik Moquin connected with Charles Keith for a 3-yard touchdown pass with 10 seconds to play.

Moquin completed 20 of 32 passes for 376 yards and four touchdowns in the victory. His TD pass to Keith plus Sam Heidenreich’s point-after kick capped Goffstown’s 19-point fourth quarter. Heidenreich’s also made field goals from 29 and 34 yards in the game.

Salem received 261 yards rushing from junior running back Josh Sibanda, who carried the ball 28 times. Sibanda scored on a 63-yard run in that helped Salem take a 14-0 lead in the second quarter, and helped the Blue Devils take a 35-32 lead on a 76-yard TD run with 4:39 to play in the game.

Salem led 14-10 at halftime and 21-20 after three quarters, but the lead changed hands four times in the final 12 minutes. The teams scored three touchdowns in the first 2:20 of the fourth quarter. Salem extended its one-point lead on Jonathan St. Hilaire’s 24-yard TD catch at 11:52; Goffstown’s Andrew Duval caught a 41-yard TD pass from Moquin (two-point conversion failed) with 9:55 to play; and Frankie Castillo-Diaz gave Goffstown a 32-28 lead when he caught a 19-yard touchdown pass — his second TD catch of the game — with 15 seconds after Duval’s TD.

Salem regained the lead on Sibanda’s second TD run, but the Grizzlies responded with Keith’s TD catch.
