Coaching turnover highlighted offseason

Another NHIAA coaching vacancy was filled when Mascoma Valley hired John Daley to replace Kyle Colburn as the school’s varsity football coach.

Daley, 28, is a 2013 Mascoma Regional graduate who helped the Royals advance to the 2012 Division VI championship game. Daley has been an assistant at Mascoma since 2018.

Colburn resigned following the 2021 season and is now the junior varsity coach at South Portland (Maine) High School.
