Coach’s Comment: “BG graduated a strong senior class a year ago, including 14 starters, but welcomes a lot of newcomers to the program. The 2020 schedule is still to be determined, but the original plan was to play Division I South. Division I West was represented by Nashua North, Nashua South, and Merrimack in the playoffs last season. BG missed the playoffs based on a tie breaker. BG will rely heavily on returning QB Dylan Santosuosso who led the team in rushing, passing and total touchdowns in 2019. QB Josh Larson also returns after missing most of last season with a back injury. WR/DB Brendan Callahan, who missed most of last season with a knee injury, will try to fill the shoes of All-Conference graduate Joey Lupo. Aidan Szewczyk is the lone returning starter on the offensive line. Last year’s Freshmen team went undefeated and will now be called upon at the varsity level including Charlie Bellavance (RB/LB) and Rocco Geraci (OL/DL). This summer was the best participation in recent years and the roster numbers are also greatly improved.”
